What is the weather like in Colombia?

One of the most important aspects of the climate in Colombia is that it is uniform throughout the year. Being in the equatorial zone, we do not have seasons and the time at which the sun rises or sets does not change either. Our climate varies according to the thermal floor in which you are. This makes us one of the most biodiverse countries in the world.

In Colombia it is possible to find hot climates, deserts and coasts up to snowy peaks with temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius just by climbing a mountain.

We have two seasonal regimes. In some places in Colombia we have two rainy seasons, from April to June and from August to November; and two summer seasons from December to April and from June to August, but in other areas such as the Orinoco, the Amazon, Bajo Magdalena and Cesar we have a rainy season and a summer season.
